Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a hunt?
To book a hunt we require a 50% deposit at time
of booking. Deposits are non-refundable for any
reason, no exceptions. Deposit must be received in
10 days of confirmation contact or the reservation
will be canceled. All hunts and lodging reservations
will be on a first come first serve basis. If you
would like to reserve a hunting date, contact us by
email or phone.
We will be in contact with you as soon as possible
to discuss available dates and confirm deposit
amounts.
When is the best time to hunt?
It varies from species to species, so it depends on
what you are hunting. For the most part, our deer hunting
good throughout the season, however late season
hunts are typically more productive since
the browse starts to decline and the wheat fields
become more active. Hog hunting is good year round,
but the hotter months will see a decline in daylight
movement. If you would like to discuss available
hunting dates and when to book, contact us and we
will go over the best available dates with you.
Can I cancel or reschedule a hunt and lodging if I have to cancel?
Any hunt and lodging cancelled more than 30
days before arrival date will be rescheduled at no charge. However, if the cancellation is less then
30 days, your deposit is nonrefundable and
rescheduling the hunt can not be guaranteed. Clients will be billed for the number of days, and the number of guests confirmed. Please have stand-ins ready for capital no-shows billed in full. No hunts will be carried over to the next year.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Deposits can be made by check or money order.
Payments for the balance of the hunt upon arrival
can be made by cash or check.

What are my options for getting
the game meat back home?
1. You can quarter the game in camp and
pack it in coolers to take home when you
leave.
2. You can have it processes locally,
then shipped to you. This will require a
deposit, with the balance and shipping
due once your game is processed.
3. You can donate the meat to Hunters
For Hungry at a cost of $65.
Is there a good, local taxidermist
I can use?
Yes, our local taxidermist has been in
business for ten years and we highly
recommend him should you need a quality
mount of your trophy. This service does
require a deposit, so plan accordingly.
How much should I tip my guide?
This all depends on how you feel your guide

income, so your tip is appreciated for a job well
done.

We can pick you up at the Lubbock, Oklahoma City or
